Cave Creek Dark Sky’s only purpose and only mission is the FIGHT against Light Pollution through the dissemination of educational materials and public events. We share detailed information about what you can do to help achieve this worthy vision. 

Reducing light pollution is a “Quality of Life” issue directly effecting our continued ability to see the night sky stars, in perpetuity.  We are in natural alignment with those who love and understand the beauty of Cave Creek, Arizona and the necessity to protect it.

We are working diligently to become a truly dark sky community with the achievement of a Dark Sky International Dark Sky certification, just as Sedona, Flagstaff, Fountain Hills, Cottonwood, and Camp Verde have done, right here in Arizona.  

We have recently been awarded our 501(c)3 designation as a Non-Profit Educational Organization.  Donations are our only source of revenue.  We thank you in advance for your support and donations!
